It's been a while...

We might be in the running for the most infrequent blog post award, but I thought it was time for a little update.

To start with, on a personal note, Tanya and I have been loving watching Naomi and Banjo grow into little people. They keep us busy and some days require a few extra deep breaths, but we wouldn't change it for the world.

Stefan Dooney and Family

This year, I've switched up my fitness regime and decided to try powerlifting. You might know me as a runner or cyclist, but long hours on the bike or pounding the pavement weren't really conducive to spending time as a family.

It's something completely different for me and a real challenge. It fits into life better and I'm enjoying learning a new skill; plus the motivation that comes from setting PBs and then trying to break them. It's bulked up my frame a bit — not quite the Hulk, but different from a marathoner's physique.

On a business note, we've been helping clients with all kinds of adventures. From getting set up in private practice, buying and selling homes, moving overseas for a fellowship, to negotiating partnerships, leases and finances. It's so gratifying (and exciting) to watch people grow as they follow their own path.

You might also have noticed we've welcomed two new team members. Dani is our client concierge, who takes care of all the paperwork to make sure your plans get put into action. And Danielle is our paraplanner, who works on the calculations and reports needed when creating financial plans. We love having the extra hands (and hearts) on board to help you. (You can check out more about Dani and Danielle here).

Finally, thank you for being you. We're so grateful for all the wonderful people we get to work with every day.
