You need a plan not a product

You need a plan. It sounds really simple. You go to a financial planner for a financial plan.

However, that hasn’t been my experience. Products and related conflict have been front and centre in advice (Royal Commission anyone?). Everyone needs a plan: it can be a loose plan, but you need to know it and you need to be able to explain it to me.

What are the three things you are working on that are going to bring together your wants, ambitions, desires and aspirations?

It doesn’t need to be complicated. I’ve gone through in this video how simple it can be. There are some examples of a good plan, why plans trump a product every time, and the feelings that come from simply having a plan.
